Often
as illness strikes we say, “Why me Lord, why am I being attacked?
During my attack with lupus I used to say, “Why me Lord?” I can now clearly
see how God used those attacks for my good and His glory. Though satan
is the attacker, God uses our attacks for our good and for His glory. Because
in 1980, when I was declared hopeless and incurable, I sought God’s
will for my life. I desired to be healed so that I could help others. And then after searching my Bible, God healed me, and gave me
compassion for suffering ones. Then He called me to teach His healing
covenant to the terminally ill.
The truth is that no terminally ill one can overcome the attack
until they know that it is... God’s will for them to be
healed.
They must also know their healing-covenant, and their
benefit-rights in Jesus. God never left us defenseless, or hopeless.
Instead, He gave us instructions on how to overcome the enemy. That is
why God said in Joshua, “This book of His Law shall not depart
out of our mouth; we are to meditate therein day and night, that we may
observe to do according to all that is written therein, and then, we
shall make our way prosperous, and then we shall have good success,”
(Josh. 1:8). Meditating the Word, and speaking audibly is key to
manifest our healing!
Satan is a ruthless outlaw that steals, kills and
destroys, by (Jn. 10:10-a). So when you are healed, you
must know how to keep your healing, or satan will steal it away. Jesus
came to give us life and to give it more abundantly, by (Jn. 10:10-b). “For
this purpose was the Son of God manifested that He might destroy the
works of the devil,” (1 Jn. 3:8). Satan wants to kill us! But
in contrast, Jesus wants to give us abundant life. Jesus paid the full
price to redeem us from the curse. So it is God’s will that we be
healed, and, it is His will that we stay healed. So don’t allow satan to
cheat you out of your healing rights by blinding your mind from knowing God’s
merciful truth.
After I enforced God's Word and I was healed, then I knew that
by enforcing the Word, that I had outsmarted satan's deception
strategy. I never let him use my mental reasoning to defeat
me, as Proverbs 3:5-6, warns us to obey. You must not allow satan access
into your mind, or he will deceive you. Instead, "Be transformed, by
renewing your mind, so that you may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect will of God”, (Ro. 12:2). You will become what you think, as you will become exactly what your mind meditates.
Because the Word says, “As he thinks in his heart so is He", (Pr.
23:7).
In Josh. 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good
courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord thy God is
with thee wherever you go.” It should comfort your mind to know that
God is always with you. Jesus said, “Lo, I am with you even unto the
end of the world”, (Mt. 28:20). Within Jesus we are more than
conquerors no matter how bad the attack may be. Jesus is with us, He is in
us, and He is for us. Also, "All good and perfect gifts are from God",
(James
1:17).
Also, Jesus is our good shepherd, by (Jn. 10:11). "His sheep know His voice, and
they follow Him", (Jn. 10:4). When Jesus was on earth "He went about doing
good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was
with Him”, (Acts 10:38). He has not changed. “He is the same yesterday,
today and forever”, (Heb. 13:8). The problem has been a lack of
teaching people how much God loves them, and that He wants them to
be healed and prosperous, which comes only by knowing and obeying His Word.
Many claiming faith do not trust God, or rely on His Word when
illness strikes. An attack will prove or tests their faith. It’s
easier to say that you have faith in God, than it is to trust in His
promise. Trust requires an intimate relationship with Him before you
can trust His promise. So acquaint yourself with God, so your faith can trust in
His Word before the attack comes, as we are all subject to the
enemy's attack. However, no weapon formed against you can
prosper, by (Isa. 54:17). And surely no attack can prosper when you trust God’s
protection, not even pain in your body.
Yet faith for healing isn't easy when pain persists. So by
determination and willpower, you must keep your mind focused on God’s covenant
promise. When satan battles your mind fiercely he is trying
to sway your faith. Remember, no pain can alter God’s covenant promise.
So forcefully speak out God’s Word to that spirit of pain, so you can
stop satan’s plan, and alter the doctor’s negative report. The battle
is fought within the mind, so take charge and keep your mind on God’s
promise.
It's impossible for God to lie or to break His promise. God made
a promise to Abraham, and because He could swear by
no greater, He swore by Himself, saying “Surely blessings I will bless
thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. After He had
patiently endured, He obtained the promise”, (Ro.4:13-15). By faith, we
are Abraham’s seed and heirs to his blessing promise, by (Ro.4:16). As in
Romans "Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for
righteousness", (Ro. 4:3).
God calls righteousness faith. "Without faith it is impossible to
please Him", (Heb. 11:6). And you must know that pain in your body
cannot altar God’s Word. Nor can it cancel God’s covenant promise. God
has good gifts for you, and healing is one of His good gifts. He wants you well,
but your soul must prosper before your health can prosper, by (3 Jn. 1:2).
Circumstances and symptoms will change as you meditate and speak the Word
so that you will overcome. Therefore do as God did in Genesis chapter one,
and call your desires into existence.
If you desire to be healed, then call Jesus your healer and thank Him
for the stripes that He bore upon His back for your healing. It will
come when you patiently wait for His promise. Healing is your covenant
right, so take your healing blessing. Faith in God’s Word makes you
whole, or well, and it is faith that will keep you well, by (Mt.9:22; and
Mk. 5:34). Yet, faith only works as you are walking the love walk, by (Gal.
5:6). Therefore obey God, walk in love without being offended, so you
can stay well.
I have seen people go through prayer lines and be healed, and testified
of their healing. When pain symptoms returned, their faith wavered.
They lost the healing due to deception. The battle in their mind was lost by satan’s
trap. If your mind wavers and you entertain doubt, or you
think you are not healed then satan has trapped you with unbelief and
deception. As you have believed the attack is stronger than God’s
promise. And whatsoever is not of faith is sin, by (Ro. 14:23).
We overcome by thinking right or else we will be overcome by meditating wrong
thoughts. It’s our own fault if deception overcomes us. God gave His covenant commandments and instructions for us, so that we can overcome deception and be
victorious over all the power of the enemy! Deception is his
only power over us. So stay close to God and ask for wisdom and
discernment, and never be deceived by the enemy.
This is not a flesh and blood battle that we are fighting, by (Eph.
6:10-18). You are fighting a spiritual battle where satan attacks your
mind. Unless you take charge of your mind, you will loose the battle in
the mind, then satan attacks your flesh when your mind is unsettled, because you are wavering, or straying from faith. You must believe Jesus
has healed you today, and you must believe you are healed tomorrow though
symptoms are still coming from satan, as he is trying your faith to
make your mind waver. That is the way the symptoms that satan gives you can deceive your mind.
As you stay in God’s Word you can overcome all the enemy attacks. As
you
then can see through satan’s plan. Because your mind will stay clear and you
will be renewing your thoughts by using God’s Word, by (Ro. 12:1-2,
Phil. 4:8). Jesus fought satan, and won the battle over him,
by (Col.
2:6-15). Your battle is to keep your mind from being contaminated
with satan’s suggestions. You must renew your mind daily with God’s
Word to keep satan from polluting your mind. You cannot overcome
deception, nor stay healed by living on food alone without enforcing God's Word.
We are all spirit-beings that must be fed spiritual food from God’s
Word, just the same as our body needs good, healthy food in order to stay healthy. As
we come God’s way, by following His instructions, the attack
will changed. With God's Word, satan cannot snare or deceive
us. So we must stay in the Word to be close to the Lord, and then,
we can fight the battle in the power of His might. As we
keep on the whole armor of God, we are able to stand fast against the wiles of the
enemy, by (Eph. 6:10-18).
If we come God’s way, even the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, by (Mt.16:18).
You can build your faith strong by living and abiding in Psalms
91, for
spiritual food. And Psalm 23 is great to feast on when your spirit is
low and you need a spiritual lift. So stay in the Word if you want to stay
well and be strong in the Lord. Walk upright and follow God’s Laws on
love, eat properly, and don’t allow satan to snare you with thoughts
contrary to God’s Word, or with what you eat. So eat what Jesus ate and
keep His Word in your heart and grow strong in spirit, soul, and body. Then you can stay
healed, and you can teach other people how to
overcome every enemy attack, as well.
